The name UpAuto originated when founder Michael Carmichael was working to organize his new business. Everything Michael has accomplished in his life, personally and professionally, has been done with a level of focus and intensity that hones in on intersecting the maximum performance with the highest quality result.
UpAuto is not a traditional dealer group. UpAuto is a purpose-built business that focuses on driving growth and performance improvement at each dealership to benefit all stakeholders. To that end, Michael chose “Up” as a moniker to illustrate and represent the direction the company focuses on taking every operational aspect in the group’s dealerships.
